The origami frog represents good fortune. Japanese people sometimes carry a small frog figurine in their wallets to ensure that they carry this fortune with them. They can be easily slipped into a suitcase or hand bag.

The frog was made from a 6” square piece of Japanese Yuzen paper and measures 2.75″ x 3.25″. It hangs from a 3 1/2” gold metallic thread. It was invented by the amazing paper folder John Montroll from his book Origami Sea Life.
